Head4Success College Counseling was founded by Jennifer Soodek M.S., M.S.Ed. in 2011 when she was ready to take her next step and make some changes in her own life. With her three children grown and an empty nest, a successful 20-year career in the field of early childhood and education, graduate degrees in both education and counseling, she realized it was time to continue her journey and discover where to take her next step.
Head4Success is based in Westport, Connecticut, but can easily be utilized by people across the country via Skype or phone.
Jennifer Soodek is a member of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association), has a Masters degree of Science in Community Counseling from Western Connecticut State University, a Masters degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College. For 23 years she was the founder and owner of Almost Home, a child care and preschool facility in Ridgefield, CT. She has worked as an independent Educational Consultant throughout Connecticut, worked in a college counseling center, taught in both private and public elementary schools, facilitated support groups, provided staff development workshops on a variety of topics and has proudly raised three children.
